Tradd Homes

With its exposed timber structure and soaring vaulted ceilings, the Tradd platform celebrates the Bensonwood timber framing heritage that underlies Unity Homes.

The Tradd is based loosely on the traditional New England “tall Cape” design, in which a steeply pitched gable roof allows for plenty of usable space on the second floor—especially when dormers are added. As one of Unity’s larger base platforms, Tradds typically range from 2000 to 2800 square feet. They may include 2 to 4 bedrooms, and 1 ½ to 3 ½ baths.

Starting Costs

Whole-house costs for the Tradd start at roughly $630,000. This estimate should be considered a preliminary guide for a Whole House package that includes a slab foundation and standard finishes, as well as delivery and installation within the greater Keene, NH area.

Interiors

The exposed timber structure in the Tradd helps to organize the interior spaces. On the first floor, a generous entry area typically leads to the open kitchen, dining and living room areas. Some versions of the Tradd include a first-floor master suite, while in others, all of the bedrooms are on the second floor.
